Job Summary

 

We are seeking an AM Lead Warehouse to be responsible for unloading raw material from delivery trucks, receiving products using scanning and computer systems, and storing them using the FIFO storage and arrangement method. You will also be responsible for organizing and leading autonomous maintenance activities for the warehouse, coordinating work crews to cover absences, training newer employees, and collaborating with the warehouse supervisor on employee performance reviews for your shift.

What you will do

 

•    Drive or operate lift trucks safely and accurately to receive, store, stack, stage, handle, deliver, and ship materials and finished products.
•    Conduct pre-operation safety inspections of trucks and complete checklists prior to operating.
•    Engage in cycle counting to ensure accurate location and availability of materials.
•    Understand and execute 5S practices of storage and cleanliness.
•    Coordinate work crews to cover absences or special project work.
•    Organize and lead AM meetings and activities for the warehouse. Participate in AM teams and support continuous improvement.
•    Engage in sound warehouse practices that safeguard our materials from damage and contamination.
•    Provide training to new operators and drive the development of operators on shift.
 

 

Shift

 

  • Hours: 12-hour overnight shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.
  • Work Pattern:  Alternating between 36 hours/week and 48 hours/week.

We believe you have

 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience with sit-down, counterbalanced trucks preferred.
  • Previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Dependability and reliability.
  • Ability to read, understand, and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures, and World Class Manufacturing processes.
